Jerome Hoffman was a patient at SpineOne in Denver, CO after a serious car crash happened in mid-2012. He went to SpineOne, the State's leader in Spine care and treatment, and was subsequently diagnosed with Sciatica and a slipped disk.
For his initial appointment with SpineOne, he was seen by a Medical Doctor who specialized in Spinal disorders. The doctor diagnosed Jerry was having sciatic nerve pain from pressure that was on the sciatic nerve due to a slipped disc that occurred because of the accident. sciatic nerve pain due to a herniated disc that was caused by the collision. After the diagnosis, Jerry and the doctor discussed a plan of action and the Doctor came up with a very thorough plan of treatment. This treatment plan included 3 injections - 2 in the back region, 1 in the neck area. Medicine was a part of the treatment plan as well as Physical Therapy. The first of the injections, combined with Physical Therapy to help boost his core, had him started on the road to recovery.
It took Jerome 2 months before he was feeling confident about the strength of his back and neck. After 4 months, he discontinued the medication and finished the last of the 3 targeted injections. He went to physical Therapy 2-3 times a week, where the focus was strengthening his core and teaching him how to do exercises on his own. The Physical therapist that he worked with was diligent about making sure that Jerome did his "homework" every week. After 6 months, Jerome was happy to report that he was "pain-free" and no longer had back pain. Or neck pain.
As Jerome points out in the SpineOne Review video, what he really liked regarding SpineOne was that everything is under one roof. He had x-rays and his MRI there, his surgeries were completed there in a hospital setting, and his physical therapy was done at the building one block west of the main building. In addition, Jerome stated that he thought that the personnel that helped him were very courteous, professional and pleasant - we love hearing that!!
