MIC Injections and Their Role in Weight Management

By Ollie Anerson

To shorten L-Methionine, Inositol and Choline, the acronym MIC is commonly used. These are lipotrophic agents which help with the breakdown of fat during metabolism in the body.

MIC injections are used to aid in a patient's efforts to achieve weight loss, administered by a physician during a hCG Protocol. Fat which is released into the body due to hCG is affected by lipotrophic injections to assist the liver to move fat away. Vitamins like B6, B12 and a compound like Cyanocobalamin are injected at times along with MIC, during some hCG program regimens, these substances aid in fat burning.

There are 8 essential amino acids which the body can not produce, but consist of the building blocks of proteins, one of which is L-Methionine. Sesame seeds, Brazil nuts, spinach, potatoes and also meats and dairy products contain L-Methionine, which is also taken as a supplement by ingesting or injection. Vegetarians are routinely recommended to use L-Methionine to supplement their diet, as well as patients with liver disease are advised to take it.

For weight management, L- Methionine helps the body process and eliminate fat. Also, this is an essential amino acid to help produce taurine and cysteine, which aid the body in getting rid of toxins.

The body is able to synthesize inositol so it is no longer considered to be a vitamin, it is a carbohydrate which is not a sugar, and is no longer a member of the Vitamin B complex. This is also found in peanuts, kidney beans, but it is mainly found in fruits like oranges, bananas, and cantaloupe.

In the management of weight, inositol, when used in combination with other B complex vitamins, helps the liver break down fats in the body, and when used in combination with other compounds in a MIC injection, especially choline, inositol forms lecithin which is known to aid in the metabolism of fat.

Choline is considered an essential nutrient that, while produced in the liver, is generally not produced in sufficient quantities. Not a true B vitamin, but still incorrectly grouped like inositol with the B complex vitamins. The regulation processes of organs such as the gallbladder, kidneys, and liver need choline to function correctly.

Choline is greatly needed to metabolize fat, and during a weight loss regime, it serves to help the liver's detoxification reactions, as well as is a methyl donor.

Eggs and soybeans are among the highest sources of choline in food products, and other sources include almonds, tofu, cauliflower, and beef liver.

Interestingly, the components of a MIC injection, especially inositol and choline, have been found to improve mental function, improve feelings of depression, and as part of a successful hCG Protocol, MIC injections are typically given weekly for the duration of the program.
