Eczema is an allergic reaction to the environment and foods that mainly affects little children. The reaction causes the skin to become inflamed, dry and sometimes it may ooze. There is nothing as bad as seeing your child suffer from this allergy. Treating this reaction naturally is way better than the use of artificial creams that are applied on the skin. The following are some tips on how to treat baby eczema naturally.

Tea tree is one of the most common natural remedies for baby eczema. This is a good remedy because it eases the child from pain by reducing itchiness. It is usually used when bathing the kid by adding it in their bath water every day. By doing this, some infections will be prevented from happening to the skin of the child.

There are some eczema infections that only affect the scalp. For this reason, there will not be need to bath the whole body with tea tree. In this case, it will be added to the hair shampoo that is normally used for the infant. It is best if the shampoo is fragrance free. The person washing the child is required to soak their head with the shampoo for a few minutes to give time for it to work.

After the baby is clean, he is supposed to be dried but not completely dry. After this, the kid can be oiled with witch hazel which is a natural anti-inflammatory. The witch hazel can be applied mainly to the red and inflamed areas. However, this remedy is too strong for babies and therefore it must be diluted with pure water in a ratio of one to one.

The next thing to do in this natural remedy procedure is to massage the kid with organic olive oil. The oil should however be micro-waved to make it warm because it is going to be used on a baby. Immediately after the oil has been applied, raw sheer butter should be applied on their entire body. This will help their body stay moisturized throughout the day.

If the baby is feeling itchy, Aloe Vera can be a good remedy for this feeling. It must be applied in the itchy areas. The above steps should be repeated every day. The results can start showing after around a week. Above all, all the reagents that cause this reaction should be eliminated to prevent this from ever happening again.

Once this condition affects a baby, there is nothing one can do to entirely stop it. For this reason, the above techniques are just techniques to reduce the harm it causes. In some infants, it reduces as they grow older. Controlling this disease on infants is much easier than on older children because it will be easier to monitor what they eat during the day.

Eczema can however be prevented according to research. Children born in a family with a history of this condition have more chance of getting it hence they must be handled with more care. Their parents can also reduce their risk of getting it by controlling their diet when they are pregnant.
